AEW Dynamite NARROWLY Defeats WWE NXT In Viewership This Week

AEW and WWE NXT brought another edition of the Wednesday Night War. Both shows had typical episodes, and Dynamite built toward next week’s Beach Break special. How did the viewership turn out?

Showbuzz Daily reports that AEW Dynamite drew 734,000 overnight viewers with a .29 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT drew 720,000 viewers with a .21 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This is a narrow win of 14,000 in viewership for AEW.

Last week, AEW Dynamite brought in 854.000 viewers this week and WWE NXT brought in 659,000 viewers.

AEW brought in 762,000 viewers for the second night of New Year’s Smash with a .30 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT brought in 551,000 with a .14 in the same coveted demographic.

New Year’s Smash night one drew 662,000 viewers with a .25 rating in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT New Year’s Evil brought in 641,000 viewers with a .16 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
