The Ultimate Warrior is a polarizing character in pro wrestling. Even today, some fans celebrate his memory while others point toward controversial statements he made. The man had a way with words, and some of them were quite blunt.

During Off The SKript, Konnan remembered an altercation he witnessed between The Ultimate Warrior and Vince McMahon. He said that Warrior was going off on McMahon and using a ton of profanity. Through it all, Mr. McMahon remained calm and let The Ultimate Warrior do as he pleased.

Seeing all of this made Konnan have to wonder how much money the Ultimate Warrior was really pulling in where McMahon would allow someone to speak to him like that.

“It’s funny ’cause I remember one time, and this is so wild… they used to have these little soundproof rooms where you would do interviews like regionalized things and it was really late at night. I remember Ultimate Warrior was coming out of the soundproof and he was saying ‘F this, F that, I’m not doing it, it’s too late.'”

“Vince was like ‘whatever you want, just calm down, whatever you need, we can do it late tomorrow.’ I was like ‘wow, how much money must Ultimate Warrior be making for Vince that Vince was like calm down?’ And he was just going off.

The Ultimate Warrior sadly passed away just days after his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. His wife Dana Warrior still works for WWE to this day in the creative team where she helps craft stories on television. The Ultimate Warrior’s legacy will live on, and a lot of those stories are incredibly interesting to hear in retrospect.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
