WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair has a very mixed response from the WWE Universe. While there are those who think Flair deserves all the chances she has got, other fans think Flair is undeserving of so many opportunities.
While speaking on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray talked about Charlotte Flair being targeted by fans on social media.
Ray defended Charlotte Flair, saying that she is absolutely fantastic and does not deserve all the heat Flair has gotten from fans. Ray also praised Flair’s in-ring psychology and ability inside the squared circle.
”I don’t understand going to social media and p*****g on someone who is absolutely fantastic. It boggles my mind. How can you be blind to the athletic ability, that she can be a ring general, the psychology she uses and right now she is not in a main event storyline and has been off-tv for months.”
Ray and Dave LaGreca then compared Flair to her fellow Four Horsewomen. Ray said that Charlotte Flair is better than Sasha Banks and Bayley due to her natural athletic ability.
”Charlotte, you called her head and shoulders above the rest. I don’t think she is head and shoulders above Sasha [Banks] or Bayley. Do I think she is better? Yes. And why have I said she is better? Because of her natural, god-given athletic ability. I think she’s a little bit of a better athlete than Sasha and Bayley.”
Charlotte Flair is currently engaged in a storyline with Lacey Evans and her father Ric Flair.
