Jeff Jarrett and Impact Wrestling have been engaged in lengthy lawsuit over the rights Global Force Wrestling footage. Now they have finally settled this case.

On January 8th, the US District Court Middle District of Tennessee in Nashville entered a new settlement into their records. This document was short, but it revealed that Jeff Jarrett and Impact Wrestling’s parent company Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions have reached a settlement. No monetary value was mentioned.

“Plaintiffs Global Force Entertainment, Inc. and Jeffrey Jarrett and Defendant Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions, LLC (each a “Party” and collectively “Parties) have agreed to a settlement in this case.

Based on the settlement, the Parties respectfully request the Court administratively close the case so as to retain jurisdiction over this case and the Parties until such time as all terms of the settlement have been met.

If the terms of the settlement are met, and unless any Party objects, they will submit a joint request for dismissal of the claims and counterclaims in the case by no later than October 1, 2022.”

This case was ruled as a mistrial a few months ago, and the judge urged both sides to settle. Instead of filing a new lawsuit and starting over, the two sides have decided to end things at this point.
