AEW remembered a great man this week on Dynamite. A Celebration of Brodie Lee’s life started even before the show went live on TNT. Tony Khan took the chance to address the live crowd.

We previously reported that Tony Khan addressed the live crowd prior to AEW Dynamite this week. Now video of his speech has emerged. In the video Khan says that Brodie Lee’s Celebration of Life will be the most special in AEW’s history.

“It’s an honor for all of us that you’re gonna be here tonight. I think it’s going to be the most special night ever in AEW, the most special thing we’ve ever done for a very special person, who deserves it; the late, great Mr. Brodie Lee.”

“His family’s here. It’s going to be amazing. I ask you guys to please not swear or anything because I’m gonna mic you guys really hot. So, please no F words. Other than that, you guys have a great show. Thanks for being here.”

AEW produced an incredibly emotional night of pro wrestling to end 2020. Fans will never forget how AEW wrapped up a year that was very hard for a lot of people. They paid homage to the legacy of a great man who was taken far too soon.

RIP Brodie Lee.
