The NWA lost quite a few names in the past few months, but they aren’t going to lose their World Heavyweight Champion. Nick Aldis just confirmed that Billy Corgan picked up an option on his contract.

Keepin It 100 with Konnan recently had Nick Aldis on the show. He was asked about his current contract status. It turns out that he’s not leaving the NWA, and Powerrr is coming back in 2021 as well.

“I had an option on my contract and Billy picked it up. Like I said, I would not have opened up any discussions with anyone without talking to [Corgan]. … I just care about that paper. That’s it and Billy’s been very loyal to me and I to him and I truly believe in what we’re doing with the product and I wouldn’t walk away from it because we haven’t even scratched the surface of what we could accomplish.”

Nick Aldis will continue leading the charge for the NWA, likely as their World Champion. Aldis will not not be leaving the NWA, and he obviously has a lot of hope for 2021.
