WWE released Miro and then he ended up in AEW. Around the time after Miro’s debut, his wife Lana started taking a bump through the announce table every week. Some fans thought that this was a sign that there is heat on the Ravishing Russian.

While speaking to the New York Post, Lana dismissed the idea that there would be heat on her. They are with different companies, but Lana sees it like actors working for different studios.

“It’s insane because I think people are finally seeing what I’m made of,” Lana told The Post prior to her match Monday against Jax. “For so long being in stories where I am an enhancement to the main the characters, main character, no problem I love doing that. Not everyone can be Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio. That’s just the reality.”

“I approach everything in WWE as I do the world of acting. It’s a compelling story and not everyone can be the leading man and the leading lady. It’s a hard pill for people to swallow but this is show business and this is television.”

There was no heat on Lana after Miro showed up in AEW. Rusev was a Superstar that Vince McMahon never pushed. Now Miro is seeking to change that idea in AEW. Lana will continue with WWE for the remainder of her multi-year contract without any heat on her because of where her husband works.

Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
