WWE drew a record low viewership number for all three hours of RAW this week. That is not how Vince McMahon’s company wanted to close out 2020.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that WWE could always try someone drastic to help ratings. They don’t have The Undertaker after his Final Farewell, but his name was still mentioned. After all, even Taker admitted that you can never say never with Vince McMahon.

He continued to relay the internal mindset right now in the company. Those in WWE got the message that something must be done.

“It’s a wakeup call for WWE. Look, everyone I know in WWE was stunned and everyone I know in WWE got the message too. It’s just what you do with the message. Again, there’s a lot of issues at stake.”

WWE could try many different things to pull the nose up on their plummeting ratings. Hopefully, they have a plan because whatever they put on the air this week on RAW did not help matters at all.
