Why WWE Scrapped Plans For Melina’s Return

WWE reportedly had plans to bring Melina back, but she hasn’t been seen since those reports broke. There is now a reason why she didn’t make her return.

During the PW Torch WWE TLC Preview show, Johnny Fairplay revealed WWE’s original plan for Melina. He claims that she was supposed to come into NXT as a member of the Robert Stone Brand, but those plans were scrapped.

“His plan was to bring in Melina and manage in NXT. She had to have surgery or something. They’re not using him.”

We’ll have to see if WWE uses Melina at a different time. She was quite upset online the other day when someone mentioned the rumors that she was set to make a return to WWE.
