Jake Roberts Missing AEW Dynamite Due To Illness

Jakes Roberts is Lance Archer’s manager, but The Snake won’t be on AEW Dynamite this week. He’s a bit under the weather, but it’s not COVID related.

Jake Roberts tweeted out to let fans know that he won’t be on Dynamite this week. The WWE Hall Of Famer said he needs to be “on point” these days. He will see everyone in two weeks when Dynamite goes live once again.

Roberts also wanted to make sure that everyone knows that his illness is not related to the pandemic. He has been battling COPD.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to appear tonight due to illness (not COVID). These days we all have to be on point. Looking forward to seeing everyone in two weeks. In the meantime, keep an eye on Lance for me on #AEWDynamite LIVE TONIGHT 8/7c on TNT

We’ll have to see if AEW uses Lance Archer without his manager barking orders from ringside. Archer is poised to be involved in some top AEW storylines as the company heads into 2021. Jake Roberts needs to be on his game, and he sounds ready.
