Lio Rush Wants to Go One-On-One with Kenny Omega

The current landscape of professional wrestling is undergoing a massive change. This is due to AEW’s current partnership with Impact Wrestling, which has opened up a world of possibilities for inter-promotional feuds and matches.

Dream matches that once seemed impossible in the past might just become a reality eventually. It is certainly a great time to be a fan of professional wrestling.

Now it seems one particular wrestler has his eyes set on AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. Former WWE Superstar Lio Rush made his way to Twitter and revealed to the world that he really wants to face off against Kenny Omega inside the squared circle in a singles match.

“I’ve wrestled omega on a couple occasions in my earlier years, but never in a singles. That’s something I’d want in the future. Maybe not next week or next month, but at some point. Yeah……What a delight that would be.”

With a possible partnership with NJPW on the horizon, it is likely fans will get to see NJPW stars competing against AEW talents.

Rush also recently took part in NJPW’s Super-J Cup. He is a talented wrestler and should he and Omega square off in the ring, it is sure to be a great match that fans will appreciate.
