Sting will return to AEW Dynamite this week as the company continues building momentum toward the end of 2020. It seems that he has a direction now.

Cody Rhodes said he couldn’t wait to share the ring with Sting. Then The Icon dismissed The American Nightmare to pay some attention to Darby Allin instead. This could lead to a very exciting time, and Sting will be in the thick of it.

AEW promoted Sting’s appearance for Dynamite this week, and they seemed to give fans an idea about what to expect. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Sting and Cody continue this angle.

After his interaction with Cody on this past episode of Dynamite. @Sting will appear LIVE this Wednesday night!

Sting will eventually wrestle in AEW, but his first opponent is not yet clear. Darby Allin seems to be someone that Sting is going to align himself with, but it’s very early at this point.

Cody is now working alongside the man who was his favorite wrestler as a child. We’ll have to see what AEW has planned as we turn the page into 2021.
