During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that they are “setting up a match” during Kenny Omega’s next Impact Wrestling appearance. He did not confirm who The Cleaner will face.

There is a rumor that Omega could get an Impact Wrestling World Title shot. That could mean his opponent is going to be Rich Swann since Swann defeated Chris Bey in the main event of Final Resolution to retain his title.

Kenny Omega’s belt collector gimmick will continue, and it appears that he is getting ready to announce his first match in this new AEW invasion of Impact Wrestling angle.
