Welcome to Ringside News’ coverage of WWE NXT’s WarGames 2020. Please keep refreshing throughout the show for constant updates once it kicks off at 6:30 PM EST.

For this year’s edition of WarGames, 5 matches have been announced, so let’s run down tonight’s announced card.

First up, the only straight-up singles match: Tommaso Ciampa vs. Timothy Thatcher. Ciampa’s hard hitting, brawling style is sure to clash with Thatcher’s grounded, submission-based offense, so this match is sure to be a solid clash of two of the best in NXT.

Dexter Lumis will once again face off against Cameron Grimes in a strap match. Grimes has been running away from Lumis for weeks, but this will be the second time in less than 2 months where he won’t be able to run, but could he emerge with the victory tonight? We’ll find out.

The only title match on tonight’s card is a triple threat match for the NXT North American Championship. Leon Ruff will try to prove that he is a real champion tonight when he goes up against both Damian Priest and Johnny Gargano. One must wonder if Gargano’s Ghostface assistants will be a part of tonight’s match, but will they help him become a 3-time North American Champion?

For the first WarGames match tonight, Team Shotzi, consisting of Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley, and Io Shirai will take on Team Candice, consisting of Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, and Toni Storm. Will Moon, Ripley, and Shirai be able to co-exist on the same team, or will they’re differences spell their demise?

Finally, Undisputed Era will take on Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch. McAfee and company have proven to be a thorn in the side of Undisputed Era for months, but the Era will get their opportunity to enact their revenge tonight against the self-proclaimed “Kings of NXT.

For this year’s WarGames, there will be a kick-off show, and we will begin our coverage live when the kick-off show starts 6:30 PM EST!
