2020 has been a very tough year for a lot of people, and the hard losses continued with the passing of Pat Patterson. So many have sent out tributes in his honor, and John Cena took some time to discuss the idea of loss.

Cena said that loss is “incredibly difficult,” but those who are loved are never truly gone if we don’t stop caring. This was a thoughtful message to receive as so many are gutted by the passing of a man who was so influential for so many.

Loss is incredibly difficult. Those we love are only truly gone if we stop caring. Pat Patterson lived life as it should be lived with passion, love and purpose. He helped so many and always entertained with a story or joke. He will live on in my life always. Love you Patrick.

The Rock sent out great tribute as well. Pat Patterson was the man responsible or calling Vince McMahon and telling him that he needs to see this kid in the ring.
