CM Punk doesn’t wrestle anymore, but that doesn’t mean he still doesn’t respect the rich history of the business. The Second City Savior recently sent out two tweets saying he would like to have a chat with two late legends.

Punk sent out two tweets on Monday evening. One said that he would like to talk with Gorilla Monsoon if he was still with us. He followed that up by saying he would like to hang out with Phil Zacko as well.

I wish Gorilla Monsoon was alive. I’d like to talk to him.

And Phil Zacko.

Gorilla Monsoon is well known by pro wrestling fans, but some don’t know about Phil Zacko. He was a part owner of Capitol Sports along with Monsoon, Vince Sr, and Arnold Skaaland. That company later became WWE after Vince McMahon Jr bought everyone out. Zacko was also essential in Vince Jr’s success in a lot of ways as he was a successful promoter from Pennsylvania..

There would certainly be many stories to tell if they were still with us.
