It’s safe to say The Rock has been on quite the journey in both professional wrestling and the world of acting, and while he did have a strong football career at the University of Miami, his real rise to prominence began in WWE.

He kickstarted his run with the company as a no-nonsense babyface but after the fans let him know what they thought about that character, Johnson knew it was time for a change.

Because of that, he had an honest discussion with Vince McMahon that changed the trajectory of, essentially, his entire life.

There are few that have been more entertaining than The Great One over the years, with many members of the WWE Universe wanting to see the superstars of the today take a page out of his book.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
