The Miz is Mr. Money in the Bank, and he holds the key to quick WWE Title win, if it’s cashed in at the right moment. He has main evented WrestleMania and held many titles in WWE, but the fans still don’t give him the respect he deserves.

While speaking to Barstool Sports’ KFC Radio, The Miz opened up about how WWE fans continue to slight him. He reads social media and knows how the fans feel about him. The negative comments saying that he doesn’t deserve to be in WWE are especially frustrating.

“Even in WWE, sometimes I feel I don’t get the respect I feel like I want, maybe that I feel I deserve. I’ve won every title there is to win, but yet sometimes I feel like — you know, you’ll read Twitter here and there and you’ll see all the negative comments. ‘You don’t deserve to be there, we hate you, you’re the worst.’ But honestly, I look at those as compliments because they motivate me, they drive me and it’s some nerd in his basement just typing away. So, I use it as fuel.”

WWE provided The Miz with a great career. He gets to wrestle in a highlighted spot, and he has his own reality television show. WWE Studios even gave The A-Lister an entire Marine franchise. Still, some fans don’t appreciate and/or realize all that The Miz did to get to this point. Perhaps they will understand in time, because The Miz shows zero intentions of slowing down.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
