WWE Called Up Another NXT Superstar To The Main Roster

WWE will sometimes call a Superstar up from NXT without any plan for them. This happens much more often than you would think.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Paul Heyman called up several NXT Superstars who were not used. We reported in July that “[Chelsea] Green isn’t alone in the group of NXT Superstar who were called up, but not used yet. Dominik Dijakovic and Arturo Ruas were also called up along with ‘some others.'”

Fightful has revealed that one of those “others” was Santana Garrett. She was called up “this summer,” but never used. She did appear on the main roster in July, but she hasn’t been seen since.

A lot of people pegged Santana Garrett as a member of Retribution, and Chelsea Green had the same rumors. Vanessa Borne was also “called-up” from NXT, and never used.

It’s unclear if they played the roles of early Retribution members prior to distinguishing the five core members (prior to Mercedes Martinez saying she didn’t want to be in the stable).
