Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract ran out so he is no longer in WWE. You can never count out the possibility of Vince McMahon offering him a mountain of money to make a return. In the meantime, Paul Heyman is leading Roman Reigns to the ring as Special Counsel to the Tribal Chief.
While speaking to TV Insider, Paul Heyman was asked about the differences between his former client and current advisee. Paul Heyman had a very interesting response: they’re “one and the same.”
“They are one and the same. Roman Reigns accomplished a body of work in his first eight years on the main roster in WWE that will go down in history. To his enormous credit, he looked back at that body of work and felt very unfulfilled and unsatisfied because, much like Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey, Roman realized history will be unappreciative of Roman Reigns’ contribution to the narrative of WWE 25, 50 and 100 years from now.”
Paul Heyman is doing a lot of media interviews to hype his new union with Roman Reigns. WWE struck a chord with their audience by bringing in Heyman for Reigns. It was also a lure the company used to get Reigns out of quarantine.
We’ll have to see where this leads next, but Roman Reigns apparently isn’t going to stop his mission to feel appreciate.
