WWE’s plans for WrestleMania 36 were derailed in a big way when the COVID-19 pandemic swept the country in March. The pandemic is not over yet which is why WWE must cancel their California plans for WrestleMania 37.

Ringside News exclusively reported in July that WWE was moving away from SoFi Stadium. That report has been confirmed in the past couple of weeks. The thinking still is, as it was in July, to move WrestleMania 37 to Tampa.

According to Wrestling News, Vince McMahon wants to make a big statement with WrestleMania next year. He wants to tell the world that “WWE is back!”

“Vince wants WrestleMania to be the show that says ‘WWE is back.”

The WrestleMania 37 that Vince McMahon is envisioning can’t happen without live fans. Florida will allow WWE to fill a stadium however they see fit since the state recently entered into phase 3 of their reopening process.

We’ll have to see what kind of big matches WWE books for the show of shows next year. The company is obviously determined to bring matches that will make people pay attention on a grander scale.
