WWE Planning To Repackage Big E Into Serious Character On SmackDown

Big E is setting off on his own on SmackDown after WWE split up the New Day. Now the company is considering a change for his character that could turn off his comedy tendencies.

The New Day delighted crowds all over the world for nearly six years with their antics. This is likely going to continue with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, but Big E is likely going to get repackaged according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

It was said that WWE’s plan is for Big E to transition his act into a serious character and drop the comedy tendencies. This will make him more serious as he gets a singles push.

with Kingston & Woods moving to Raw as tag team champions and Big E staying a single. The idea is to get Big E away from the act and make him more serious for a singles push.
