Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly went to war at NXT TakeOver: 31. They are also both out of action with different injuries now. That is something that Chris Jericho has luckily been able to avoid.
One fan asked Jericho if he learned anything from watching the main event of NXT TakeOver: 31. His reply was: “Sure! How to fuck each other up during a match so they can’t work again for months.” He also used #SmartWrestling.
Le Champion followed that up with a tweet that praised the main event of his 30th anniversary show. Nobody was injured during that contest.
Great to see that the @AEW Main Event of Jericho & @RealJakeHager vs @KingSerpentico & @KillLutherKill, increased 10% from the previous segment and DOUBLED the @WWENXT demo! Plus female viewership was up in that slot. Just proves that #Luther is a money draw AND a Sex Macheen…
NXT saw a few hard injuries in a row to Finn Balor, Kyle O’Reilly, and Ridge Holland. There are even more injuries on the brand like Karrion Kross. Hopefully, they did learn a lesson from that experience. Chris Jericho certainly seemed to take something from it.
