Batista recently revealed a very interesting aspect of his career in the wrestling ring. Apparently, he always kept an inhaler around just in case he needed it.

Batista’s good friend Ken Jeong tweeted out a video of President Trump breathing heavily. Jeong said that Trump was “gasping for air and credibility.” Batista saw this tweet and he responded by saying:

I’m an asthmatic. That’s what I would look like if I was trying to hide that I was having an asthma attack. Well not all orange and bloated with a combover and a bad suit… but otherwise.. yeah. I recognize that struggle to breathe.

A fan said that he would be getting his inhaler if his breathing was that labored. Then Batista replied saying that he needed his inhaler just trying to watch the POTUS breathe.

I reached for my inhaler watching him struggle to breath. It’s like a guys reaction to watching another guy get kicked in the balls. Relatable discomfort!

A fan asked Batista how he dealt with having asthma during his matches. This is when The Animal revealed that he hid inhalers around the ring to help him out when needed.

I hid inhalers under the ring and with people working around the ring. I’m not kidding. The cold venues were my nightmare.

Batista doesn’t have to worry about getting in the ring anymore, but it is very interesting to know that he kept an inhaler around for all those years just in case he needed it.
