WWE Hall of Famer and sitting US President Donald Trump has COVID-19. This news made global headlines and even shook the pro wrestling world.
Personalities from the pro wrestling world commented on Trump’s positive COVID-19 test result. Others online had opinions that were gruesome as they seemed happy that the POTUS has COVID-19. That was a disgusting reaction for anyone to have about anyone testing positive for the virus.
Chris Jericho heard enough of people “wishing him dead” and he had to say something. It doesn’t matter which side of the political equation you’re on. A 74-year-old man has COVID-19 and there’s nothing to be happy about. Jericho isn’t about to debate anyone about that either.
Whether you like the president or not, people who are literally wishing him dead are out of line. Not cool. And Im not going to debate that….
Ryback also tweeted out with a similar message. He said: “Love and positive energy to the @POTUS and @FLOTUS and wishing death on anyone is never acceptable.”
We’re sending out our best to anyone who is dealing with the terrible COVID-19 pandemic in any fashion. The pandemic hurt a lot of people and continues to do damage to this day. No matter what happens, it’s never okay to wish that someone dies for any reason.
