James Storm’s 2020 didn’t turn out the way he thought it would. If it weren’t for the pandemic The Cowboy would be a WWE Superstar right now.

The Cowboy revealed during an interview yesterday that WWE contacted him about coming into the company. He was set to jump straight to the RAW brand, but that didn’t happen. The pandemic caused them to nix those plans.

Storm reacted to the story’s publication and fans who were disappointed that he didn’t arrive in WWE as planned.

Well SORRY about my damn luck. Definitely would be fun and interesting. Keep on keeping on. #Sh*tandGetit #DamnCOVID

We’ll have to see what the future holds for James Storm. The book might not be closed for his surprise debut in the company. They might need to wait until crowds return to get that organic reaction that WWE is looking for.
