Mustafa Ali returned to the RAW brand, but then he became a staple of Main Event very quickly. Fans will continue to hope for his push, and they aren’t the only ones pulling for him.

Cedric Alexander recently spoke to TalkSport where the subject was breached about guys WWE wasn’t pushing. Alexander said he wasn’t the only one who should have been pushed because there are “a ton of people” who never got their time in the spotlight as well.

Alexander continued praising Mustafa Ali by saying that at this point he should have won a title in the company by now.

That could be a ton of people! Of course, number one on my list is Ali. He’s my boy. He should have been a champion in some form already by now. Another guy I think just needs to find the right formula is Tony Nese. He’s a phenomenal athlete. He’s stuck down in 205 right now and he’s killing it down there and that’s fine, but I feel at some point you gotta bring this guy up. Based on the fact that, one, look at him! He’s a genetic freak. For a guy that is labelled as a cruiserweight, he’s another one of those guys that if you put him next to Kofi Kingston or Xavier Woods, he’s probably going to be a little bit bigger than them.

Mustafa Ali had a great chance to do some cool things with a hacker angle, but that fell apart. Ringside News exclusive reported all the details about that. You can click here for the full story.

We’ll have to see if Mustafa Ali gets that push in WWE that so many people want for him. In the meantime he’ll likely remain a favorite on Main Event.
