Serena Deeb is the latest pro wrestler to announce that they are self-quarantining. It is important to note that she did not disclose any positive COVID-19 status, but she did come in contact with someone who later turned out to be positive.

Deeb recently signed with AEW. She was previously with WWE as a Performance Center coach. Now the former Straight Edge Society member is in AEW, but she’ll be at home for the next ten days.

This is awful timing as she must also miss a big match on Primetime Live against Allysin Kay. She sent out a message which the NWA shared on her behalf.

“Earlier this week, I came into contact with an individual who later tested positive for COVID-19. I am taking extra precaution and will be self-quaranting for 10 days.

Due to this, I unfortunately have to postpone the match at Primetime Live next week with Allysin Kay. I offer my utmost apologies for this. This is a serious matter, and the health and safety of everyone involved always comes first.”

This is for precautionary reasons, but you can never be too careful when talking about a highly contagious virus like COVID-19. Hopefully, Serena Deeb will be okay and never test positive so she can continue her journey in pro wrestling without any more pauses.
