WWE and AEW can sometimes have their eyes on the same talent. That has been the case with a couple of people so far, but will RVD be one of them?

RVD is currently signed with Impact Wrestling where he has been given a few notable programs. He is also getting a chance to perform for the company during a time when they are trying to rebuild popularity on AXS TV.

Pro Wrestling Junkies recently spoke to RVD where the next phase of his career came up and whether he would like to go to AEW or more time in WWE. He is willing to talk to anyone as long as the money is right. At this stage in his career he’s certainly not getting the ring time he used to.

“I would consider anything as far as a contract goes, as long as everything made sense. It’s easy for people to think of RVD as just a wrestler, but that’s just something that I do. For the last several years, my total time in the ring is probably just a couple of hours – maybe 5,10,12 matches.”

Impact Wrestling offered RVD a fine deal that he was happy to take. He’s also not concerned about wrestling every single night. He realizes that time off is a good thing and if he gets to space out his matches then that gives him a better opportunity to perform at a higher level.

He previously confirmed that couple new WWE projects are on the way. We’ll have to see if AEW ever gives the Whole F’n Show a call.
