AJ Styles Confirms Talks With AEW

AJ Styles signed a new contract with WWE last year, but there was a chance of him going to AEW. He even heard what the Elite hat to offer him.

During a recent Twitch stream, AJ Styles admitted that he spoke with AEW about coming in. He didn’t reveal how far along to talks went, but they never got around to throwing out actual dollar amounts.

“Yeah, there were talks. Look, it’s a business. My contract in WWE was going to expire and there were talks happening.”

“The Bucks are my buddies. We never discussed money or anything, but there were talks about coming in.”

AJ Styles’ new WWE contract will likely keep him from AEW for the remainder of his career unless he plans on wrestling even longer. He has already spoken about how his time in the ring is coming to an eventual end which might come sooner than later.
