Vince McMahon runs WWE with an iron fist, but the thought is always there that he can’t maintain that strenuous life forever. The 75-year-old Chairman of the Board needs someone to take over for him when he is no longer able to perform his duties. A lot of people have pointed toward Triple H as the man who needs to have the book handed to him when that day comes.
There are times when Vince McMahon isn’t around, and Triple H has needed to fill in. Lance Storm is no longer with WWE after being part of the April 15th cuts, but he saw Triple H take Vince McMahon’s responsibilities a time or two during his short stay as a producer.
While speaking to Figure Four Daily, Lance Storm said that he feels Triple H would be a good booker for WWE. He might not be the greatest, but that is also a matter of subjective opinion.
“I will say I am a big fan and supporter of Hunter. When I was an agent, there were several TV’s when Hunter was there. There were a couple of segments where Hunter was running things because Vince wasn’t there. I think he’s a really sharp guy. I enjoyed working with him. I thought he was very professional. I thought he was very easy to talk to and deal with. I think he will be good. Is he the greatest booker in the world? Probably not. But then again, I don’t know who is. I very much believe in him and his abilities. Again, I found him very easy to work with so I’m a supporter of his.”
WWE will have a very tough decision ahead of them when Vince McMahon can no longer do the job he is performing today. They might need to hire multiple people to take care of every facet of the business that McMahon is presently doing. Triple H certainly seems to have Lance Storm’s vote to call the shots on the main roster when that time comes.
