WWE had to make several tough cuts when the pandemic swept America. Some of those April 15th furloughs have translated into full releases. That is the case for longtime WWE staff writer Anthony Benigno.

The tenured WWE staffer took to Twitter and revealed some very personal information. He was handed his walking papers after nine years with the company.

SOME PERSONAL NEWS: Today was my last day at WWE. Way too many memories and thank yous for almost 9 years, suffice it to say it’s about the most challenging, rewarding place I could have imagined starting my career with the best people I could have hoped to meet along the way.

During his time with WWE, Benigno was a part of WWE Head To Head as host and producer. He also wrote articles on WWE.com since 2011.
