Big E Says New Day Has Plenty Left To Accomplish As A Faction

The New Day have accomplished a lot during their time as a team. They used the Freebird Rule several times during their 8 tag team title reigns in WWE. Some fans have declared that New Day are the best faction in WWE history, but Big E doesn’t want that label yet.

While he was on WWE The Bump, Big E was asked about the fact that WWE declared them the greatest faction of all time. Big E said his job is to be the best in the ring, but it’s not his job to determine who is the best.

“Part of me thinks that this is flattering because there have been so many great factions. I will say that we’re not done yet. There’s no other active factions — maybe Undisputed Era because they’re still going and who knows what their reigns will look like and how many titles they will win.”

“This is not a conversation for me to decide, this is a conversation for you to decide about the greatest faction. You know what I actually did I muted that conversation because I was tired of people going back and forth ‘ah the New Day haven’t done this.’ That’s not for me to decide. That’s for you to decide and look and see who’s where and what. It’s flattering I guess, but we’re not done yet. We still have more to accomplish, so don’t ask me who’s the greatest of all time.”

Big E might not want to weigh in on the subject, but others certainly have no problem with it. The New Day are still going after 6 years as a faction. Big E is the only one who is wrestling on television right now, but it might only be a matter of time before all three members are lighting up the ring once again.
