Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 in front of zero live fans inside the WWE Performance Center. This was followed by months of McIntyre carrying the title into an empty building without paying fans to cheer him on.

Brock Lesnar’s WWE deal actually expired with that WrestleMania match. The company was allowed to sell his merchandise for five months prior to taking it down. That is what gave everyone red flag that the Beast Incarnate is now a free agent.

There is a lot of talk about Lesnar’s contract. A strong belief says Lesnar will use AEW to leverage an even bigger deal. If WWE can justify spending that kind of money on Brock Lesnar then they will bring him in.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE is currently considering Drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 37. A lot of things could change between now and then. Randy Orton is a huge determining factor.

Another thought out there is that Randy Orton could take the WWE Title from McIntyre. That might set up Edge in a big title match situation at the show of shows. At this point, WrestleMania plans are nothing close to being decided upon.
