Welcome to Ringside News’ coverage of NXT TakeOver: XXX. Please keep refreshing throughout the show for constant updates once it kicks off at 8:00 PM EST.

After weeks of buildup, NXT TakeOver: XXX is finally here. Tonight, we will crown a new NXT North American Champion, and both the NXT and NXT Women’s Championships will be defended, along with plenty of other matches. Let’s run down tonight’s card.

First off, to start things off on tonight’s pre show, Breezango, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan, and Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde of Legado del Fantasma will face off in a triple threat tag team match to become #1 contender to Imperium’s NXT Tag Team Championships. Breezango and El Legado have been major issues for each other for months, but will one of those teams emerge victorious or will the Brit-Am Brawlers come out with the win?

In a match recently announced, Finn Balor will take on Timothy Thatcher. Thatcher blindsided Balor after his match with Velveteen Dream this past Wednesday, costing Balor the match, and Balor will be looking for revenge while Thatcher looks to continue his hot streak,

For tonight’s final non-title match, Adam Cole will take on former NFL punter Pat McAfee. After months of back and forth between these two, things finally reached their boiling point when McAfee kicked Cole’s head in on NXT television a number of weeks ago. McAfee will step into the ring for the first time tonight against the longest-reigning NXT Champion in history, Adam Cole. Surely these two will not have a straight wrestling match, but what will go down between these two tonight? We’ll find out.

After a series of triple threat and singles matches to determine the competitors for this match, Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Damian Priest, and Velveteen Dream will face off in a ladder match to determine the new NXT North American Champion. Two of these men have the chance to be the first two-time NXT North American Champion, while the other three look to win their first piece of gold for the black and gold brand, but only time will tell who will come out on top.

Io Shirai will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Dakota Kai. Kai become #1 contender after blindsiding Io Shirai, and with the addition of Raquel Gonzalez back into her corner, Kai has stayed one step ahead of the champion for weeks, but will Kai be able to outsmart Shirai tonight and become the new NXT Women’s Champion?

Finally, in what will likely be tonight’s main event, NXT Champion Keith Lee will defend his championship against Karrion Kross. This rivalry has become intensely personal, with Kross taking out Lee’s best friend, Dominik Dijakovic, and Lee caught a fireball to the face during the contract signing two weeks ago. While Kross has managed to get into Lee’s head, Lee will finally get his hands on Kross tonight. Kross has been virtually unstoppable since arriving in NXT, but will the Limitless One put an end to Kross’ hot streak?

Tonight’s card is set to be action-packed, with 3 championship matches and multiple high-profile performers, and we will begin coverage when the NXT TakeOver: XXX pre-show begins at 6:30 PM EST!
