Bruce Prichard’s Actual Creative Input On WWE RAW & SmackDown Revealed

WWE went through a lot of changes backstage when Paul Heyman was removed from his position as executive director of RAW. He is over both writing teams, but that doesn’t mean he’s writing at all.

Ringside News exclusively reported the process of writing backstage in WWE. In our report we said that Bruce Prichard doesn’t write. He is there to make sure that Vince McMahon’s orders are disseminated to other departments and to make sure that they are communicating.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that: “[Prichard] also deals with USA and FOX, although Kevin Dunn has stepped in a lot on that and Nick Khan may end up doing that as well.”

As of this writing we have heard nothing new about Shane McMahon taking any additional responsibility backstage. This could be an interesting transition if that happens, but right now it’s nothing confirmed.
