Eric Bischoff isn’t around WWE backstage anymore after being let go as executive director of Friday Night SmackDown. He is obviously paying attention to what WWE is doing and a big announcement like the ThunderDome didn’t pass him by.

Easy E tweeted out that he’s always thought WWE programming was over-produced. The ThunderDome might be needed right now as these current pandemic times call for a much different tactic.

In the end, Bischoff said that the WWE ThunderDome could be great. This will certainly be something that a lot of people will continue to have their eye on.

Really looking forward to this. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can produce live action tv like WWE. For my taste, it’s often overproduced. Given the current circumstances however, if the virtual crowd is realistic and talent adjusts accordingly, could be great!
