Ethan Page Jokes That He Would Rather Retire Than Tag With Eli Drake

Ethan Page’s Impact Wrestling contract could be coming to an end when 2021 begins. This led to serious speculation fueled by a tweet from Cody Rhodes that AEW is interested in him.

One fan tweeted out to Ethan Page saying: “The Eli Drake and Ethan Page tag team that is almost definitely coming to AEW by the end of the year though.” Page had a very interesting reply.

“Oh god. Never [LOL emoji] rather retire,” Ethan Page replied. This was quite a statement regarding a possible tag team with Eli Drake in AEW.

Since his Impact Wrestling departure, Eli Drake came close to signing with AEW, but he has yet to show up on AEW programming. Ethan Page and Josh Alexander are still together as The North. A lot of fans would also hate to see that team broken up for any reason.

We’ll have to see what 2021 holds because 2020 was certainly full of surprises, wasn’t it?
