Marty Scrull’s name was called out in the #SpeakingOut movement. ROH was not running shows at the time, but they launched an investigation. Now that ROH is coming back this leave Scrull in limbo.

It was previously reported that Sinclair Broadcasting, ROH’s parent company works at a snail’s pace when it comes to internal investigations. It’s unknown how long it will take to reach some sort of conclusion in this matter.

ROH is still proceeding and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Delirious is back as head booker of ROH. Marty Scurll is no longer head booker due to the investigation.

Hunter Johnston (Delirious) is back as the head of creative. Marty Scurll, who had been head booker, is technically on hiatus with no ROH responsibilities pending a human resources investigation of the claims made against him. Johnston has been the sole creative force as far as formatting, producing and organizing television since the investigation started.

Since Marty Scurll won’t be booking the show it’s reasonable to assume that he will also be absent from the tapings as a performer. ROH might take a long time to figure out what they’re going to do in this situation. We will continue to keep a close eye on this story here at Ringside News.
