WWE had a lot of things going on during the build for Extreme Rules. One planned match is being held next week on SmackDown instead.

WWE had planned to hold the Bar Fight between Jeff Hardy and Sheamus at Extreme Rules. They held off on confirming the match because Sheamus needed to be at home as we exclusive reported. This week they booked the match, but plans changed. The Bar Fight won’t be happening at Extreme Rules as planned.

Hardy was cutting a promo backstage, but then Sheamus jumped him. The Celtic Warrior said: “see you next week.”

WWE taped this week’s episode of SmackDown on Friday. They apparently wanted to book a big match for next week’s show. Since Extreme Rules is already a full card, they bumped the Bar Fight to next week.

This is an interesting decision, but hopefully, it will bring in some viewers.
