Drew McIntyre won the WWE Title at WrestleMania 36 just as he was booked to do, but it happened in front of zero live fans which was not the intention at all. 100 days later at least there are NXT Superstars in the Performance Center to serve as a live crowd.

McIntyre’s WWE Title win might have taken place in front of no live fans, but he felt their presence. The Kin Of Claymore Country previously stated that he lost himself in the moment as he addressed the WWE Universe.

Today marks 100 days as WWE Champion for Drew McIntyre. He celebrated this achievement with a tweet and a “cheers” emoji. He also said that they’ve got a long way to go.

100 days as WWE Champion. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way, but we have a long way to go. Here’s to the next 100. Cheers

McIntyre is set to defend the WWE Title against Dolph Ziggler during the Horror Show at Extreme Rules. Nobody knows what the stipulation will be because it is up to the Show Off.

It is McIntyre’s goal to move past Ziggler at Extreme Rules, and that is the current plan. He is slated to defend that title next against Randy Orton at SummerSlam.
