Mike Tyson showed up at Double Or Nothing to present Cody Rhodes with the TNT Title. He stuck around and shot an angle with Chris Jericho on the next Dynamite, but Iron Mike hasn’t been back.

AEW obviously wants Mike Tyson to return. He was a ratings draw and he garnered the company mainstream interest. He also doesn’t come cheap.

While speaking to the New York Post, Tony Khan explained Mike Tyson’s current situation with AEW. He would love to have Tyson back so he can finish things with Chris Jericho, but they need to work things out.

“I like Mike a lot. Mike did a great job on Double of Nothing and I think there was a great amount of publicity and the show did very well. I have to attribute something to Mike’s presence there. I really think the world of Mike and I’d love to have Mike back if we could ever work it out. There’s a lot of great matches out there in the future, but if we could ever put Mike and Chris together and do Tyson vs. Jericho, I think it would be great.”

Mike Tyson seemed to have a great time in AEW and that certainly helps the situation. We’ll have to see if they can snag another appearance or two out of the famous retired boxer. All Out seems like a very plausible target for Tyson vs Jericho to go down.
