NJPW is back in the business from hiatus. The promotion temporarily closed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic but are now back with a bang with their two-night “Dominion” event.

On the first night of the show, EVIL betrayed IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito and joined the Bullet Club. The two men faced each other on Night Two in a singles match to determine who’d walk out the Double Singles Champion.

The match that saw heavy interference from multiple Bullet Club members. In the final moments of the match, a man wearing a BUSHI mask ran down to the ring and distracted Naito.

EVIL took advantage of this and hit his finisher on the champion to successfully pin him and became the NEW IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion.
