Chelsea Green and her fiance Matt Cardona were set to have a wedding in 2020. The coronavirus had other plans.
When Cardona was still Zack Ryder, he proposed to Green. They had a date set, but it didn’t happen as planned. Chelsea posted on Instagram and said they’re trying not to be upset about their postponed wedding.
What matters to them is that they are happy and healthy. 2021 is now the new goal to become husband and wife for Matt and Chelsea.
Instead of being upset about our postponed wedding, we will cheers to the fact that we are both healthy & happy ♥️ 2021 it is!
The COVID-19 pandemic altered a lot of plans. Chelsea and Matt had family traveling from different parts of North America. This could have presented a risk they didn’t want to take.
Matt Cardona is gearing up for whatever is next for him. He could end up in AEW, or surprise us by appearing elsewhere. Chelsea Green is still in WWE, but she has been off NXT television for a while. She very well could be in a holding position before a main roster call-up.
