WWE Turning Popular Babyface Back Into A Heel

WWE has a lot of reasons for doing what they do on television. In reality, the only reason the company needs is because Vince McMahon says so. It appears that the company needed to beef up the heel side so they turned Lacey Evans back into a bad girl.

The Lady Of WWE was getting a babyface reaction as she played up her military and family background. Any time they could bring her daughter Summer onto television to gain sympathy it worked like a charm.

This week on Friday Night SmackDown, Lacey Evans didn’t take her loss during the karaoke segment very well at all. She lashed out and attacked Naomi. This resulted in a match.

Evans wrestled in a dress and the match was eventually called off when Dana Brooke got involved. Prior to that, they were talking to Lacey like they wanted to know what had gotten into her.

We’ll have to see what the future has in store for Lacey Evans. Her character saw some evolution this week, but it didn’t involve adding another layer to her good girl character. Instead, it appears the heel side of the Lady Of WWE has returned.
