WWE has one more episode of SmackDown before the Horror Show at Extreme Rules. They are holding a rather big title match prior to the next pay-per-view with minimal build.

AJ Styles cut a backstage interview this week on SmackDown. He said nobody is worthy of facing him for the IC Title. Then he was informed that he will defend his title against Matt Riddle next week.

The King Of Bros did not appear on the show. He will be heavily featured next week as he faces AJ Styles for the Intercontinental Title. WWE will tape next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on July 17th.
