WWE has SummerSlam scheduled for August 23rd, and the show must go on. They will be in the WWE Performance Center yet again, but that doesn’t change the significance of the yearly event.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated, The Miz stated that he wants a SummerSlam tag team match. His partner of choice is naturally John Morrison. He also wants to face Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak at the biggest party of the summer.
Miz and Daniel Bryan have a lot of history with each other. The A-Lister stated that beating up Daniel Bryan is always one of his favorite things to do .
“Any time I get to beat up Daniel Bryan, it’s one of my favorite things to do in WWE. And any time I get to beat up a person that envies Daniel Bryan, that’s also one of my favorite things, too.”
We exclusively reported that WWE isn’t even thinking as far ahead as SummerSlam right now. Vince McMahon is still concentrated on the Horror Show at Extreme Rules.
The Miz certainly seems to have a good idea when it comes to a match at SummerSlam. Let’s just see what the company ends up booking for him, because he might just get what he wants in this instance.
