WWE hasn’t been able to run live events since COVID-19 broke up everyone’s plans. There are hopes that they will be able to bring back live fans soon.

The company rescheduled few live events for Raw tapings. It’s unknown if they will have to change the date on those again.

John Brady, WWE’s Executive Vice President And Global Head Of Sales And Partnerships recently commented on WWE’s current live fan situation. He sat down with Pro Sports podcast and stated that WWE is ready to go back to arenas as soon as people are ready.

“Yeah look, first of all, if people will open arenas safely, we’re ready. Our Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has said we’re ready to go and entertain and put smiles on people’s faces so we look forward to the next step in the transition.”

“When we’re in the time of reduced travel, we’re just trying to produce content. Deliver content. Give fans the ability to ingest content. We’ve just had to pivot and evolve based on the realities of this global pandemic.”

The pandemic hasn’t slowed down, in fact, it’s only getting worse. The battle about wearing masks in the USA wages on as record numbers of COVID-19 are discovered every day. WWE is not immune to the pandemic either as several people in the company came down with the virus.

WWE seems more than ready to jump back into the live event game the moment they are allowed.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
