Triple H Claims This Is ‘Io Shirai’s NXT Now’

Last night during night one of NXT’s Great American Bash, Io Shirai was able to successfully defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks – with a little bit of help from Asuka, of course.

It was the kind of match that really did showcase why the NXT women’s division has been so strong for so many years now, and why the future seems to be brighter than ever.

After the match, Triple H took to social media in order to praise all of the women involved in the title match.

While it does appear as if this feud is far from over, Shirai’s win was quite easily one of the biggest of her entire career.

HHH has been at the heart of a revolution with women’s wrestling in WWE, and that trend looks set to continue.
