Edge returned to WWE after a nine-year absence from the squared circle. He re-entered the picture telling a great story about determination and grit. Now he is back with WWE for another three years.

The Rated R Superstar is currently recovering from a triceps injury. He was taken out during re-shoots as he and Randy Orton taped The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever.

During Booker T’s Hall Of Fame Radio Show, Edge discussed his actual plans for retirement. He is “really stubborn” about the idea and wants to finish things on his own terms. This was not afforded to him the last time around.

“I want to finish it on my terms. I’m really stubborn on that in this run, I guess. I really want to, with this, try and show that selling still sells. I feel like that’s been lost. Don’t get me wrong, I’m guilty, too. You can watch the TLC matches and say ‘but, but, but!’ And I get it. I was young and I was there and I did it. I was always told by the Steve Austins, by the ‘Takers of the world, ‘hey man, if you just slowed down and tried this and that, and this and that.’ When I started doing that, that’s when I started making real money.”

Edge and Randy Orton’s Backlash match was set for SummerSlam, but Vince McMahon wanted to push up that match. This was exclusively reported by Ringside News.

We haven’t seen the last of Edge in the ring. He wants to retire on his terms and that certainly doesn’t include a triceps injury.
